This movie was an absolute blast from start to finish
Short Review: The synopsis for 'What You Wish For' was so vague that I had no idea what to expect going in. The little we got about a chef with a gambling problem who assumes someone else’s identity didn’t even scratch the surface.
But I didn’t and we’ve been on a wild ride ever since
I don’t think I’ll ever forget the moment the ball dropped in this movie. It was said so casually and it was reacted to so calmly that I thought I had misheard or misunderstood.
I really liked this
The movie is dark but often funny. It strikes a great balance in terms of how seriously it should be taken, it certainly leans heavily towards the serious side, but there are enough raunchy moments to make you realize how off-the-wall this is. 9/10.
