Plot
After being released from prison, Mafia henchman Dwight “The General” Manfredi is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he builds a new criminal empire with a group of unlikely characters. Sylvester Stallone’s first major role in a television series.

The opening credits sequence features various photographic and painted images, as well as Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York City landscape: the “Touch the Clouds” statue of a Sioux Indian chief; wears a War Bonnet and Bone Choker necklace (breastplate) attached to the Brooklyn Bridge’s Golden Driller statue, which is built on the Statue of Liberty. There are several numbered “Avenues” in the Manhattan borough of New York City; which are crossed by smaller numbered streets..

Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky, old school, hard a$$ acting style is perfect for this show. From the narration to the journey through Tulsa, it just goes to show that this role is perfect for him.
Also, playing a guy his age and style definitely helps the blend in nicely
As for the show, the production for the first two episodes was great and moved along pretty quickly. It will be interesting to see how well and what big twist they have in store by the end of the season.
In the meantime, if you are a Sly fan, you definitely have to give this show a chance, even if you are not, I would still recommend it for its gangster performances
