I was reluctant to watch this due to the lack of common sense in most TV shows these days
Plot
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a scheme to exact revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a Quebec warehouse in 2011-2012; five people were sentenced to prison.
Likeable characters and light entertainment
But I’m glad I gave it a try. These are 30 minute episodes that are silly, cheesy, funny, dramatic, and engaging.
A few cliffhangers to end the series nicely
I’ve watched all 6 episodes and am looking forward to a second season. I highly recommend checking this out and it’s a perfect runtime that fits perfectly into a half hour show.
The French soundtrack is also catchy
Any longer and it would have dragged. I’ll check it out on YouTube Music.
