Plot
Jackal is a tough assassin who earns his living by carrying out hits with the highest payout. He soon meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer who tracks him down in an exciting cat-and-mouse chase across Europe. The novel “Day of the Jackal” was set in 1963 and involved the assassination attempt of the then French President Charles de Gaulle.

I noticed a strong comment on “Where have we gone wrong”. Redmayne’s Casting was the perfect choice for this remake of the classic. The big mistake was casting Lashana Lynch, a female MI6 agent, as the female lead.
He finds himself inexperienced for this role
As if he was trying hard to impress and draw less attention to his character role, which should have gone to a more experienced actor. They should have cast a more confident and experienced actress like Christine Adams. I admit that the other Actors were okay and the acting was decent.

The story and production were spot on for me and kept me hooked on Redmayne’s action scenes. I was tempted to fast forward all of Lashana Lynch’s parts because they got super annoying. New season "Silo" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
