Plot
The men and women live in a giant silo underground with few rules they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic and broken world on the surface.. Whether exploring the stars, escaping dystopias or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction is.. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book "Wave" – the book has 82 chapters. The floor fans in various episodes rotate in the wrong direction as far as blade orientation is concerned.
I really liked Silo
Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 of 2023 TV Shows You Should Be Drinking (2023). Just my kind of series. I love mystery and suspense. I hadn’t read or heard of the books that Silo was based on.
The story is good and interesting
The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who are now left live in a silo, and these people have never been outside the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. However, they know that going outside the silo is fatal.
The acting is good as is the character development
Some people choose to go outside to understand more, but they always die. Those who remain in the silo can watch through the window every time someone wants to come out and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliet Nichols, who tries to figure out what’s outside the silo and why they can’t get out without dying. However, the pacing can be a bit slow as there are some filler episodes.
I’m looking forward to season 2 with more suspense, mystery and answers about what’s going on outside the silo!
Undoubtedly, they could have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but it doesn’t bother me that much because the series as a whole is very good.
