Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on a short story by George R.R. Martin, the story centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, performs a daring trick: sending the powerful and fearsome sorceress Gray Alys (Mila Jovovich) into the eerie wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the wandering Boyce (Dave Bautista), must outwit and outwit both man and demon.
