American remake (English) of the French version HPI series (2021)
Plot
It follows Morgan, a single mother of three, and how, thanks to her exceptional mind, she can help solve a crime while rearranging the evidence during her shift as a nanny at the police department. Despite her very high IQ, excellent memory and extensive knowledge of the arcana, Morgan makes a series of basic legal mistakes that anyone who has ever watched a show TV by law would know not to do them. In episode one, for example, she obtains a document from a locked safe in the suspect-victim’s law office that would never be admissible in court—illegally obtained evidence.

It also could not be used to obtain other evidence – violating the legal doctrine of “fruit of the poisonous tree.” In episode 2, she has to be reminded to wear gloves before handling evidence at the crime scene, and in #3, she removes all the documented evidence from the police station, completely breaking the chain of custody and making everything she removed not let it be. admissible in a court of law.. The original French version, Haut Potential Intellectuel, was much smarter.
She is fired from that job for disrespecting the customer
The first episode was basically the same as this first episode, except they stopped at the first part where it’s established that he lacks patience with the people he talks to. This was at a job he had outside of working as a cleaner at the police department. After that missing scene, the rest of the first episode was pretty much the same.
Might as well be fun because I like Kaitlin Olsen
The biggest difference is the main character, Morgan, who is much weirder than the one depicted in the American version. After watching the original version it is extremely difficult not to compare. I hope that the character he had in The Mick, which was irreverent and funny, shows up in future episodes.
