Plot
Two Harkonnen sisters battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and found a legendary sect that would become known as the Bene Gesserit. But the pace?
Let’s make this review nice and neat, shall we? No spoilers – I wouldn’t want to spoil the secret for you. Now the story itself is, well, quite usable. Nothing special. Quite sluggish, I must say.
A bit tiresome at times
I’m afraid the drama doesn’t ignite the peace, although there are a few selected moments that manage to attract attention. As for the production, well, it screams “high class.” Nevertheless, everything is quite competent, although, of course, not a masterpiece. But let’s not be too strict – there is a wonderful play by the actors, especially from Tabu. This woman is an absolute gem. Cinematography and music are good, but a little disappointing compared to “Dune”.
Just don’t expect fireworks
Direction? Well, she does her job, but she doesn’t spin gold, if you know what I mean. So, would I recommend it? If you can’t wait to uncover the backstory and see how it all began, be sure to watch it. It is better to watch the Indian mini-series “BRINDA”, which may be low-budget, but full of intriguing narrative and realistic acting.
